
It’s a safe bet that your neighborhood grocery store has vending machines that sell sodas, snacks, and maybe even scratch-off lottery tickets, but what about a vending machine that sells ammunition?
I’m hard-pressed to think of a more unnecessary convenience that second-amendment-humping ammo-sexuals will love more than an automated dispenser that accepts cash and spits out live rounds.
That’s precisely the bet being wagered by American Rounds, a Texas-based company, looking to add firearm ammunition to the list of things you can buy out of a vending machine, and if you live in Alabama or Oklahoma, you may already have one of these kiosks at your local supermarket.
According to the company’s website, the vending machines are currently available at six locations—two in Alabama and four in Oklahoma—with more destined for markets in Louisiana and Texas later this year.
