+ My friend, Keith Jopling runs a brilliant podcast/website The Art of Longevity where he just published a new white paper: “Crossing The Rubicon: Creative and Commercial Longevity in the Music Business” in which he takes a look at 25 different artist case studies using data and insights from interviews with those artists to literally map the highs and lows of their careers. (Artists include Suede, Norah Jones, KT Tunstall, Tears for Fears, Gary Numan, Los Lobos, Death Cab For Cutie, Calexico, Interpol, Spoon, and many more.) It’s a fascinating look at real-world data illustrating the longevity of these accomplished artists.

+ David Letterman landed the best possible tour guides for his first visit to Dublin.
