I just saw that he made a response video on TikTok to everyone grossed out by his use of "Gasms" for his album title and he said that a "gas" can be anything that makes you feel good, and to not just think of it in a sexual sense of the word. To which, I saw, "Sure, Smokey. Whatever you say."
Very excited to finally have Lou Reed's Hudson River Wind Meditations available for streaming. It's a great album to play while writing...or sleeping. It's not for everyone, but it's better than Metal Music Machine. I'm also an ambient music nerd so I suppose that helps.
It has to be better than MMM. I'm actually interested to give RWM a listen myself. Just haven't had a chance to yet. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts once you've gotten a chance to listen to it, Brad.
Well I have listened, sir...and I just have to warn you, it's not a very "musical" record. It's more "mood-centric." I read somewhere that he said he had created it and just used it for background ambience when guests came over, etc.
I should also mention that the 2nd track “Find Your Note” is far more annoying than the rest of the album. I’m going to have to consider a playlist without it as it has a quality about it that echoes MMM. 🤔

Good to know! I'm still yet to give it a listen but it's on my list to get to this week. Glad to know what I'm in for, at least with track #2!
